As a parent to three girls (the two youngest are currently at Discovery), I understand the critical role education plays in setting the social, cultural and educational foundations for our children to grow. Our schools need to represent a safe and inclusive environment where our children can thrive, and our teachers need to be supported and enabled to create this for our Tamariki.

I therefore joined the Board of Trustees in the hope of contributing to the achievement of strong student outcomes, so that they may be better prepared for a rapidly changing world. 

In my professional career I am constantly engaged in the global community, am a strong collaborator, take a methodical approach to problem solving and bring an unwavering ethical commitment to my work. I look forward to working with my fellow board members, who I know are just as passionate as I am about making Discovery School a great place to learn.
